05 May 2012 : Rajasthan Royals won the match by 43 runs.Rajasthan Royals won the toss and choose to bat first.They lost an early wicket,the top scorer Ajinkya Rahane got out for just 5 runs.Then the skipper Rahul Dravid and Shane Watson played some big shots and kept their run rate just above 9.Shane Watson scored 36 off just 17 deliveries and Rahul Dravid scored 46 runs.Even though they got a great start, they couldn't keep their run rate in the middle overs.And at the end of their innings Brad Hodge played some big hits,two sixes and boundaries to get them to 177.Brad Hodge scored 36 off 23 and Menaria made 34 off 27.In eply to this the Kings XI Punjab could only make 134 in 20 overs.Only Shaun Marsh got a score above 30 and all other batsmen failed to keep their team in the winning track.The scores of both teams along with important batting and bowling performances are given below:Rajasthan Royals : 177/6(20 overs)
